Not much to comment on the trunions and table build; the instructions were quite clear. I did mess up the main trunion block itself a few times... All my own mistakes, just reading the instructions wrong - or reading them right and then doing the exact opposite, I'm not really sure :-) But I got there in the end.
Overtightening a woodscrew is not a good idea. Luckily there were a few millimeters sticking out so no big problem to get it out.
You really need a bandsaw to build a bandsaw.
